Abstract

Este trabajo explora algunas dimensiones de la identidad civíco moral y especialmente política de la comunidad de expatriados residentes en el área de Ajijic/Chapala, recurriendo a algunas comparaciones con la comunidad de expatriados que residen en Puerto Vallarta/Bahía de Banderas, con la finalidad de poner de relieve las características excepcionales de los primeros. Se pone el acento en las dimensiones liberal-conservador e izquierda-derecha, junto con la identificación partidaria, en tanto  expresión lógica del perfil cívico moral mencionado y la identidad liberal demócrata predominante.
