Zygmunt Bauman es un autor que a partir de ciertashipótesis básicas edifica una rica y complejaobra intelectual. Compañero de una generaciónde sociólogos compuesta por figuras como PierreBourdieu, Anthony Giddens, Alain Touraine oUlrich Beck, este sociólogo contemporáneo deorigen polaco pero radicado en Gran Bretañadesde hace décadas, ha logrado producir una obraconsistente que analiza el mundo contemporáneoa partir de ciertas preocupaciones clave que operancomo sus principales ejes de reflexión, entrelos cuales están el proceso de envejecimiento dela modernidad, los efectos sociales y culturales dela globalización económica y la licuefacción de losmarcos, las instituciones y los vínculos sociales.Downloads
