This paper examines and discusses some propositions for the conceptualization of associative goods. The purpose is to explore if those goods generated by the participation of citizens can be conceptualized as commons. The argument is supported on the assumption that associations are spaces of free participation built upon a particular kind of rules and relations for the use and distribution of the resources and assets shared. Following this line, the paper identifies the actives that could be characterized as commons in two spheres: those that are shared and generated as result of the integration of members to associative groups, and those generated by associations as result of their actionsDownloads
