Abstract

REl artículo estudia a los músicos quetocaban en el cabildo catedral. Primeroanaliza qué era el cabildo, cómo funcionaba,qué funciones tenía y quiénes lointegraban. Después se enfoca en losmúsicos, las relaciones entre ellos y lasjerarquías que establecían, además, de lamanera en que lograban ingresar comocantores o instrumentistas de la catedral.La parte más importante del artículo estádirigida a conocer y analizar las estrategiasde los músicos para lograr incrementosde sueldos y obtener mayores beneficios.Esto se interpreta como la resistencia quetenían los músicos hacia las autoridadesdel cabildo.
