Abstract

En el presente escrito se analiza, a la luz dela teoría sobre capital social, la movilizacióny protesta ciudadana que se realizó a finalesde 2007 en Guadalajara, para detener elintento del gobierno estatal por realizarun reemplacamiento del parque vehiculardel estado de Jalisco. Se concluye que eléxito de la movilización ciudadana generóincentivos y coadyuvó en la construcción decapital social, ayudando, además, a reforzarla confianza ciudadana en la protesta ymovilización como instrumentos legítimosde lucha de la sociedad.
