Abstract

El uso de documentos personales enlas ciencias sociales y en la historia enparticular es un recurso para la investigacióninteresada en el conocimiento delpunto de vista de los sujetos sociales. Labúsqueda de estos acervos no siempre esfácil, por lo que en este trabajo se proponereconsiderar un procedimiento parala producción de acervos testimonialesmediante la convocatoria a concursos detestimonios. El método propuesto se basaen la experiencia y enfoque de la historiaoral y de vida, en México y en otras latitudes.Se mencionan sus aportes y algunosproblemas para el aprovechamiento deestas fuentes testimoniales.
