En este artículo se explora la configuracióndel sistema electoral de Jalisco,analizando las consecuencias institucionalesy políticas de las reformas electorales yel reacomodo en las relaciones de poder.Particularmente, saca a la luz una aparenteparadoja: mientras más competida yequitativa es la competencia electoral, ymás equilibrada la representación política,crecen también los sentimientos de desafecciónde los jaliscienses en relación conla política y sus componentes. La modernizaciónpolítica del estado, acompañada demayor democracia, redunda curiosamenteen una legitimidad menguante, en mayordesconfianza hacia la política, así comoen índices decrecientes de participaciónelectoral.Downloads
