Resumen

Este estudio se enfoca en evaluar el papel de las asimetrías de poder en la denuncia de mujeres que sufren violencia de pareja íntima (VPI) en relaciones heterosexuales y lesbianas. A través del análisis de datos provenientes del Banco Nacional de Datos e Información sobre Casos de Violencia contra las Mujeres (Banavim), se conformaron dos muestras balanceadas: una de víctimas heterosexuales y otra de víctimas lesbianas. Mediante la aplicación de 11 tratamientos y la comparación de coeficientes a través del test de Wald, se revela que la experiencia de distintas formas de violencia difiere entre ambas poblaciones. Se identifica que, mientras algunas variables afectan a las víctimas heterosexuales, pero no a las lesbianas, aquellas que afectan a ambas poblaciones tienen un impacto aún mayor en este último grupo. Estos hallazgos subrayan la importancia de adoptar una perspectiva interseccional en el estudio de la denuncia de la violencia de pareja íntima.
